We are fourth generation farmers with a background including; sheep, dairy cattle and beef cattle.  My husband Adam Smith established the Smith Family Farm in 2002 at the age of 18 as a all natural commercial beef farm.  With persistence, hard work, and a passion for the farm life he was able to grow to the 300 head we have today.  Marrying in 2017 I found myself relocating to the rolling hills of Belmont Country to reside in our now forever home.  Growing up on my grandfathers farm it did not take long to rediscovered my love and passion for everything farming.  I am proud to say we are a traditional farm and living a traditional family lifestyle .  Farming is not only our passion but it is what we do full time.  We are very fortunate to have built a sustainable operation that provides adequately for both our family and farming needs.  Our goal is and continues to be producing some of the highest quality stock with exceptional growth rates.  Having achieved this goal in the cattle industry we soon began discussing the idea of diversification on our farm.  In 2019 we expanded into the goat industry by purchasing our first 100% New Zealand and Purebred kiko herds.
